RCHub: SD Card Image

Make your own RCHub.

Take any Raspberry Pi, power the way you want, make your own enclosure, etc.

The only requirement is the display, it must be Waveshare 128x128, 1.44inch LCD display HAT.

We recommend RPi Zero 2W, can also use RPi 4 or RPi 5.

Trainer cable must be connected to GPIO17 and GND pins.

Upon purchase, you receive a link to SD card image file and RCHub DIY Guide archive. The guide archive contains all information needed to make your own copy of RCHub plus  STL files for the enclosure, so you can 3D print it too.

• Flash your Micro SD card with the image, use Raspberry Pi Imager or alike;
• Insert Micro SD card into your Raspberry Pi and allow it to boot (may take longer the very first time);
• You can now use your Raspberry Pi to forward USB joystick inputs to your radio via trainer cable;
• By default, output is limited to 4 channels, i.e. DEMO mode. Please contact us and provide your order number and we help you unlock all 16 channels.
• You can use the image to flash as many SD cards as you like, and use other Raspberry Pi devices in DEMO mode indefinitely. But if you want to unlock all 16 channels, please make a new separate order.
